The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge caused much excitement amongst smartphone enthusiasts on Sunday, however pre-order prices of GBP 569.00 and GBP 639.00 respectively exceed the current prices of Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6s.

When should you buy the Galaxy S7?
Shoppers should be aware that a mere 3 – 6 month wait will yield good savings.
Research based on the price evolution of previous Galaxy models undertaken by product price comparison website, idealo.co.uk, predicts that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be as much as 21% cheaper within just three months. A little more patience and a wait of just 6 months is likely to save consumers a huge 28% off the original launch price.
Spokesperson behind the research, Katy Phillips, explains that despite our era of digital dependency, many consumers are increasingly hungry to find a good deal, even if it means being patient.:
“On one side we have the tech addicts who will queue up overnight and pay whatever it costs to be among the first to get their hands on a new device. On the other side, there are rising numbers of savvy shoppers, who want the newest smartphone, without it costing over the odds.”
